CMC, PallasMed offer QC PhilHealth YAKAP services

Capitol Medical Center (CMC), a Mount Grace partner hospital, has partnered with PallasMed Primary Care Clinic to bring PhilHealth’s Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) closer to PhilHealth members in Quezon City.

Powered by the CareSpan digital system, the PallasMed primary care clinic will operate on the grounds of Capitol Medical Center, located in front of the CMC Multispecialty Center and beside the CMC Industrial Clinic along Quezon Avenue in Barangay Paligsahan.

Under the partnership, PallasMed will act as a primary care provider for eligible PhilHealth members.

Services will include primary care consultations, health assessments, preventive care, select laboratory tests and diagnostic services and access to outpatient medicines through the GAMOT benefit, subject to PhilHealth guidelines and coverage criteria.

As a 200-bed tertiary hospital, Capitol Medical Center will function as a referral facility for patients requiring specialized consultations, further diagnostic evaluations, or hospital admission based on clinical assessments.

The integration aims to streamline patient navigation between primary care and hospital-based services.

Meantime, PallasMed chief executive officer Ginia Domingo noted that the collaboration creates a convenient access point for individuals utilizing PhilHealth YAKAP benefits.
