Provincial government provides agricultural inputs and medical supplies amid challenges affecting local food production.
QUEZON — The provincial government of Quezon dispensed agricultural inputs and fishing equipment to farmers and fisherfolk in Lopez town on Sunday, 18 October, as part of efforts to strengthen agricultural production and support rural livelihoods.
The assistance was provided through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA), benefiting organizations of vegetable, coconut and corn farmers, as well as fishing groups in the municipality.
According to the provincial government, the distributed agricultural inputs and equipment are intended to help beneficiaries improve productivity, sustain farming and fishing operations, and strengthen their sources of income.

The provincial government said it remains committed to implementing programs that respond to the needs of farmers, fisherfolk and other sectors while promoting sustainable livelihoods and improving access to essential services.
