Bulgari exec defends Pia Wurtzbach from malicious rumors
Did a crazy rich Singaporean cause Pia Wurtzbach's disinvitation from Paris Fashion Week?
Paris Fashion Week has concluded and strangely, global fashion icon and beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach's presence was not felt at all.
Unlike other Paris Fashion Week episodes in the past, Wurtzbach was able to attend some fashion shows and appeared in some street display of her designer wardrobe.
Rumors have it that Wurtzbach reportedly offended Singaporean socialite Grace Yeh when her seat at Bulgari show was given to the former beauty queen.
Rumors made it appear that the Singaporean VVIP used her influence for Wurtzbach not to get an invite to famous brands fashion shows.
Jesha Nina from Bulgari Philippines' marketing team was quick to defend Wurtzbach from the rumor, claiming that the former Miss Universe title holder did not steal a seat at a Bulgari event in Europe.
"Representing the Philippines for Bulgari wherever in the world. Your seat will always be yours," Nina wrote in a post.
A fan also defended Wurtzbach, saying: "Why would an ambassador lose their seat in the first place? Can you at least make up a story that actually makes sense and has no plot holes? Trash and Shit."
Bini Maloi seen in Zild Benitez's family photo
Rumors linking Maloi Ricalde of Bini and Zild Benitez of IV of Spades continues to be unabated, the most recent of which was when netizens noticed Ricalde's presence in the Instagram post of the singer's father, Frank Benitez.
In the post, Ricalde can be seen with the family of Benitez including his younger sister Francine Benitez.
Although Benitez was not seen in the photo, netizens believe that the Bini member's inclusion in the photo op is a strong indication that there is a special bond between Ricalde and Benitez.
Ricalde and Benitez were spotted a few times in the past — in a family wedding last June, in a trip to La Union and at the PURVEYR Fair at the World Trade Center last month.
Still and all, the two have not admitted they were in a romantic plane.
