Trina Biazon shares Bantayog ng Lawa Award amid criticism
Trina Reyes-Biazon, wife of Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon, shared a post about receiving a Bantayog ng Lawa Award, saying she would continue working on programs for Muntinlupa residents despite criticism.
In a social media post, Biazon said she preferred to focus on work that could benefit others rather than on negative comments.
“Tuloy-tuloy lang po ang trabaho, kahit may mga bumabatikos,” she wrote, adding that what matters most is the work done, the lives touched and the people helped.
She also mentioned that several activities had taken place in recent weeks that she had yet to share publicly, and said new programs for Muntinlupa residents were being developed.
“Less noise, more meaningful work. Tuloy lang po tayo!” she wrote.
The Bantayog ng Lawa Awards, given by the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA), recognize contributions to the development and protection of the Laguna de Bay region.
Biazon serves as co-chairperson and program director of the Muntinlupa Gender and Development Office. Her social media post did not specify the award category or identify the particular initiatives cited for the recognition.
