ANKER launches “ANKER SOLIX,” the brand’s line of premium energy storage solutions in McKinley, Taguig City on Wednesday, 14 October.

Anker SOLIX, the clean energy and portable power solutions brand of Anker Innovations, has entered the Philippine market with three products aimed at households seeking alternatives to conventional power sources: the SOLIX XE Hybrid, SolarBank 4 and S2000.

Anker SOLIX XE is a next-generation, true all-in-one home energy storage system built for dynamic tariffs. With up to 15kW of solar input and support for up to two charge-and-discharge cycles per day, it maximises daily savings with cable-free stacking and effortless whole-home backup. — LOUISSE KALINGAG for Daily Tribune

The SOLIX XE Hybrid is designed to provide whole-home backup power and maximize solar energy use. When paired with eight to 10 solar panels, the system is estimated to generate 7,440 to 9,300 kilowatt-hours annually, potentially offsetting Php64,700 to Php80,900 in yearly electricity costs based on an assumed rate of Php14.50 per kWh.

The SolarBank 4, meanwhile, targets households starting to adopt solar energy. Paired with four panels, it can generate an estimated 3,720 kWh annually, while a six-panel configuration can produce about 5,580 kWh.

The S2000 is said to be designed for those looking for a more portable energy solution. Recognizing a market gap for high-quality, plug-and- play energy solutions, the S2000 is able to provide clean power in a more portable form for those who work remotely, travel or are outdoors frequently, or live in smaller homes. — LOUISSE KALINGAG for Daily Tribune

Depending on the setup, the system could offset Php2,300 to Php48,600 in annual electricity costs, based on the same assumed rate.

The S2000 completes the product lineup as a portable power solution for remote workers, travelers, outdoor enthusiasts and residents of smaller homes.

Anker SOLIX is targeting an estimated three-year payback period for a typical residential solar storage installation.

The company launched its Philippine operations through a partnership between electronics distributor and retailer NAVCO and GoPrime, the solar energy solutions company behind GoSolar.

It plans to expand its retail and e-commerce reach to the Visayas and Mindanao, explore installment financing partnerships, and strengthen its network of local solar installers.
