The Medical City Clark marks 11th anniversary
The Medical City (TMC) Clark marked its 11th anniversary recently, highlighting ongoing investments in specialist care, advanced technology and regional infrastructure aimed at reducing patient travel to Metro Manila.
“Our goal is to ensure that Filipinos do not have to leave their communities to find world-class care,” said Dr. Stuart Bennett, TMC president and group chief executive officer.
“As we strengthen our regional hospitals as centers of excellence, we are building a network that brings advanced medicine closer to the people who need it,” he added.
The 103-bed facility, located in the Clark Freeport Zone, remains the only Joint Commission International-accredited hospital in Central and Northern Luzon.
The hospital features Central Luzon’s first Hybrid Cardiac and Vascular Catheterization Laboratory, specialized neurosurgery services, and the region’s only dedicated burn unit. Its Julius K. Quiambao Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Center houses a PET-CT scanner used for precision cancer staging.
“Our patients in Central Luzon deserve the same standard of care they would find anywhere in the world,” said Earline D. Borlongan, TMC Clark hospital director. “Every new capability we add is meant to give families access to treatment closer to home.”
The Medical City network includes five hospitals and more than 70 clinics nationwide, extending services into Northern Luzon through TMC Pangasinan in Dagupan City.
