ORO regional awards launched
Financial services giant Cebuana Lhuillier has launched the ORO Regional Awards 2026, a new recognition platform designed to honor employees across the company's nine operating regions.
Named after the Spanish word for gold, the ORO program aims to celebrate employees—affectionately known as Ka-Cebuanas—whose dedication, perseverance, and loyalty drive the company's mission of financial inclusion.
"ORO marks an important step in our longstanding recognition tradition, bringing recognition closer to our nine regions and honoring the Ka-Cebuanas whose dedication and hard work contribute to our success every day," said Jean Henri Lhuillier, president and CEO of Cebuana Lhuillier.
The pilot run of the awards covers all nine regional jurisdictions, honoring personnel across multiple categories. These include 10- and 15-year service milestone awards, special performance citations, branch and area distinctions, customer experience honors, and the Regional Manager (RM) Cup.
The RM Cup highlights the role of regional managers as mentors who cultivate talent, inspire performance, and guide their teams toward operational excellence.
"ORO brings recognition closer to where our mission comes to life every day—in our branches and the communities we serve," said Jose Miguel Jimenez, senior vice president and branch sales group head. "It is here that our people make a direct impact, making it important to celebrate their contributions where they happen."
Beginning in 2027, regional winners recognized under the ORO awards will have the opportunity to advance to the Brillo Awards, Cebuana Lhuillier’s national recognition stage established in 2009.
Company executives said the regional platform reinforces employee engagement and ensures that high-performing personnel across provincial branches receive institutional acknowledgment for advancing community financial services.
