STI marks 50 years on with PSE
STI Education Systems Holdings Inc. (STI) marked its 50th year as a publicly listed company by ringing the opening bell at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) on Monday, October 12, 2026.
Originally listed as Jardine Davies Inc., STI joined PSE’s roster of listed firms on 12 October 1976.
During the listing anniversary event, PSE president and CEO Ramon S. Monzon cited the company’s robust growth since it started trading as STI in September 2012.
He noted that STI’s market capitalization surged by 421.8 percent, from P2.45 billion as of September 2012 to Php12.78 billion as of 25 September 2026.
Monzon also lauded STI’s financial performance, pointing out that its net income reached P2.22 billion in 2025, outpacing three other education stocks listed on the PSE. “Five decades on the Exchange represent far more than longevity. They reflect corporate resilience, bold transformation, disciplined stewardship, and an enduring commitment to empowering Filipino youth through education,” Mr. Monzon said.
