Regional anti-narcotics teams dismantled two drug dens, arrested 18 suspects, and seized more than P1.7 million worth of suspected illegal drugs during coordinated operations across Las Piñas and Makati, capital region police officials announced.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Officer-in-Charge Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano said that the dual-city busts reflect an intensified intelligence-gathering campaign focused on dismantling local supply networks and physical drug facilities throughout Metro Manila.

Abrahano directed operatives across the capital’s five police districts to accelerate intelligence sharing, trace drug supply corridors, and identify covert distribution hubs operating within residential neighborhoods.

“Our campaign will not stop at arresting individuals,” Abrahano said.

“We will pursue the networks behind these operations and take lawful action to prevent drug dens from continuing to threaten our communities,” he added.

The NCRPO chief instructed district commanders to swiftly validate tips provided by local residents and ensure that tactical operations strictly adhere to lawful search guidelines and chain-of-custody protocols for drug evidence.
