Metro Retail launches Mareng EMS Caravan
Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI) has launched its first Mareng EMS Caravan, bringing together sari-sari store owners, resellers and business partners in Mandaue City, Cebu.
Held at The Tent, Mandani Bay, the event provided business operators with a platform to connect with brands and retail partners and access member benefits.
Mareng EMS, or Enterprising Metro Suki, is Metro Retail’s business-focused program for sari-sari store owners, resellers and other entrepreneurs. It offers members exclusive discounts and offers, customized rewards and business tips.
MRSGI president and chief operating officer Joselito Orense said the caravan was intended to celebrate entrepreneurs and support their business goals.
“The Mareng EMS Caravan is more than just a gathering. It is a celebration of the hardworking entrepreneurs who share one dream — to grow their businesses, provide better for their families, and build a better future,” Orense said.
He said the program’s “EMS” also represents the aspiration of “Every Member Sumakses or Sasakses,” adding that Metro Retail wants its members to succeed.
The caravan featured product showcases, promotional activities, interactive games and an event passport activity encouraging members to engage with participating retail partners. Qualified members also received goodie bags containing product samples and other items.
Metro Retail said the program forms part of its efforts to build closer relationships with business customers and provide entrepreneurs with supply reliability, practical education and long-term commercial support.
