Lexus takes electrified lineup to two malls

Lexus Philippines is putting four electrified models on display at Estancia in Pasig and Power Plant Mall in Rockwell from 9 to 11 October, giving mallgoers a closer look at its battery-electric and hybrid vehicles.

The Estancia display at Village Walk features the ES 350e battery-electric sedan and the RZ 350e electric SUV. Over at Power Plant Mall, Lexus is showing the LX 700h Premier hybrid SUV and the ES 350h Executive hybrid sedan.

The ES 350e carries the familiar comfort-oriented character of the Lexus sedan into a fully electric model. It has a coupe-like profile and a roomy cabin, while a 14-inch touchscreen handles vehicle and entertainment functions.

Its electric powertrain also gives the sedan the quiet operation expected from a battery-powered car. Lexus positions the ES 350e as an option for buyers who want the ride and cabin comfort of a luxury sedan without a gasoline engine.

Sharing the Estancia display is the RZ 350e, an SUV developed on a platform designed for battery-electric vehicles. It uses the brand’s spindle body styling and comes with the Tazuna cockpit, which places major controls and displays within easier reach of the driver. A 14-inch touchscreen is also fitted to the SUV.

Visitors at Estancia can also get a complimentary Lexus dog charm. Lexus caps and shirts may be embroidered on site, while coffee and pastries are available during the event.

The Rockwell display takes a different approach to electrification with two hybrid models.

The LX 700h Premier combines the large SUV’s three-row cabin with a twin-turbocharged V6 hybrid powertrain. It gives customers a hybrid option in one of Lexus’ biggest and most luxurious vehicles.

Beside it is the ES 350h Executive, which uses a self-charging hybrid system. The sedan also comes with a spacious cabin, a 14-inch touchscreen and a 10-speaker sound system. Coffee and pastries are also available for Lexus customers who visit the Rockwell display.

The two weekend displays give buyers a chance to compare different types of electrified vehicles without visiting a dealership. Those interested in full electric driving can see the ES 350e and RZ 350e at Estancia, while customers who prefer a hybrid can check out the LX 700h Premier and ES 350h Executive at Rockwell.

The four models will remain on display at the two malls until 11 October.
