Upgrade your October shopping game

The SM Advantage Card (SMAC) has launched “SMACtober Surprise,” a month-long rewards program running throughout October 2026 that integrates in-app games, digital vouchers and in-store discounts for its members.

The initiative utilizes the SMAC&SHOP app to offer interactive ways to earn points and discounts. A key feature is the "Shake & Win" promotion, which allows members to shake their devices on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (between 12 noon to 1 p.m., and 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.) for a chance to win up to 10,000 SMAC Points and ₱1,000 in shopping vouchers.

Additionally, the app hosts a daily "MAX Voucher Claw" digital game where users can draw surprise rewards from participating brands. SMAC is releasing "Super Vouchers" weekly, providing up to 60 percent off participating brands for use in-store. Shoppers can also access exclusive "Amazing Deals" by presenting their physical card or in-app QR code while checking out at any SM Mall.

The promotion also extends to social media, where members who post about their in-store finds or in-app gameplay can earn an additional 500 SMAC Points.

The SMACtober Surprise runs until 31 October. Participation requires an active SMAC membership and the SMAC&SHOP app.
