Logistics firm integrates automated order fulfillment system
LBC Express has integrated its delivery and logistics services directly into local e-commerce platform Menue, automating order booking, box selection, shipping fee calculations, and waybill generation for Philippine online merchants, company officials announced.
The technical partnership connects LBC logistics operations directly to digital storefronts, eliminating manual shipping fee calculations and individual booking steps for online retailers.
Under the unified system, the Menue platform automatically determines appropriate box sizing and real-time shipping costs at checkout based on LBC rate structures across the Philippines. Once a customer completes a transaction, the platform generates a print-ready LBC waybill and logs the delivery request directly onto the merchant's unified order management dashboard.
LBC Express executive vice president for Corporate Sales Jerome Santos said embedding digital booking tools into merchant storefronts allows packages to arrive at courier facilities fully documented and ready for immediate dispatch.
Menue director Khaled Nakawa noted that automated shipping calculations address routine operational bottlenecks for local online businesses, allowing merchants to streamline fulfillment without relying on manual rate calculators.
Beyond logistics integration, the local e-commerce platform provides small and medium enterprises with custom online storefronts supporting digital payment channels, including GCash, Maya, QR Ph, and credit card processing, with plans starting at P1,200 per month.
