SSS recognizes best employees
The Social Security System (SSS) recognized three employees for their innovative contributions, outstanding performance and exemplary ethical conduct during its 2026 Best Employees Awards on 24 September 2026.
SSS president and chief executive officer Robert Joseph M. de Claro said the program seeks to encourage innovation, strengthen accountability and promote high standards of service across the government-run social security institution.
“The Best Employees Awards Program highlights the dedication, professionalism and commitment of SSS employees who go beyond the routine performance of their duties,” De Claro said. “Their contributions help advance the SSS mission and vision and improve service delivery to our members and stakeholders.”
Levana M. Langgaman, corporate executive officer II of the Branch Accounting Department, received the national Best Supervisor Award.
The award recognizes supervisors whose innovative ideas and outstanding performance benefit their units or the SSS as a whole. It also recognizes consistent ethical conduct and demonstrated leadership competencies.
Dr. Jose Noriel A. Fabroa, medical specialist II of the Medical Operations Department, was named national Best Customer Service Employee.
The award is given to employees who provide prompt, accurate, efficient, convenient and reliable service to SSS customers. It also recognizes efforts to improve customer satisfaction and address customer concerns, requests and other service-related issues.
Jetro O. Taniegra, human resource specialist of the Performance Management and Employee Relations Department, received the national Best Support Service Employee Award.
The award honors employees who provide prompt, accurate, efficient and reliable service to internal customers, including SSS personnel, units and offices that rely on services, programs, projects or information from other parts of the organization. DT
