Regional most wanted nabbed in Alabat

ALABAT, Quezon — Police arrested a regional-level most wanted person facing two counts of statutory rape and one count of rape by sexual assault in Barangay Poblacion 1 here early Monday.

Police Regional Office 4A reports showed that personnel of the Alabat Municipal Police Station conducted the operation at about 1 a.m. on 5 October.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued on 28 September by the Regional Trial Court Branch 173 in Gumaca, Quezon.

Police said no bail was recommended for the two statutory rape charges, while bail of P200,000 was set for the rape by sexual assault case.

An alternative recording device was used during the operation.

The suspect is now under the custody of the Alabat Municipal Police Station.
