EK marks 31st year with upgraded AGILA experience

SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna — Enchanted Kingdom (EK) is set to unveil new enhancements to its AGILA The EKsperience: SARIBUHAY attraction as part of the theme park’s 31st anniversary celebration this October.

The newly updated areas will officially open on 17 October, featuring “Kwento ng Agila,” an immersive walkthrough highlighting the Philippine eagle, its natural habitat and the biodiversity within its ecosystem.

The new entry experience will also give visitors a closer look at the inspiration, architectural symbolism and development of AGILA by an all-Filipino team.

Augmented reality features will also be introduced along the landing queue leading to the Enchanted Forest, allowing guests to interact with the experience through their smartphones.

EK has likewise refreshed PUGAD, the attraction’s in-house concept store, to incorporate entertainment and environmental learning as part of the overall AGILA experience.

The enhancements form part of EK’s “Fiesta ng Saribuhay” anniversary campaign, which promotes biodiversity conservation and environmental awareness.

The theme park said the initiative builds on its conservation efforts, including its support for the care and breeding of “Enchanting Kagitingan,” a male Philippine eagle, in partnership with the Philippine Eagle Foundation.

Also set on 17 October is the Fiesta ng Saribuhay Concert at the Spaceport Grounds, featuring performances by Dionela, P-pop group XONARA, Sacred Red, SMS, Kingsmen and other artists.

The anniversary celebration will culminate with “Lipad ng Agila: A Pyromusical Fiesta.”

Other activities include the “Run to 31: Takbo ng Saribuhay” on 11 October and the Ube-Matcha Festival from 14 to 18 October.

AGILA The EKsperience: SARIBUHAY was reimagined in October 2025 and was named Best ASEAN New Tourism Attraction by the ASEAN Tourism Association in January 2026.
