Romance takes an unconventional turn in the upcoming Korean drama Make Me Tingle, premiering on HBO Max on 15 October.

The 10-episode romantic series stars Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Jae-yeong as two people with completely different views on love who unexpectedly find themselves drawn to each other.

Nam plays Gong Yeon-su, a conservative marketing executive whose life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Dokgo Dal, the outspoken CEO of an intimate products company portrayed by Kim. The two first meet on a blind date arranged by their families, only to cross paths again when Yeon-su ends up working with Dal as a client.

Their second meeting is far from ideal. Yeon-su approaches her work with caution and professionalism, while Dal is much more direct and comfortable discussing topics that make her uneasy. Their contrasting personalities soon lead to a series of awkward encounters, misunderstandings and moments of unexpected humor. Despite their differences, the two find themselves spending more time together as their professional relationship develops.

The series reunites Nam and Kim, who both previously appeared in 100 Days My Prince. Nam is also known for Good Partner, while Kim has starred in Idol I.

Directed by Kim Ye-ji, Make Me Tingle is created by Ju Hwa-mi and Kang Eun-kyung, with a screenplay by Ahn Sae-bom. The series is produced by Studio Genie and Gleline.

The first four episodes will premiere on 15 October, followed by two new episodes every Thursday until the finale on 5 November.
