PIDIGAN, Abra — Police Regional Office Cordillera chief Police Brig. Gen. Noel Vallo and his team provided first aid to two people injured in a motorcycle crash in Barangay Sulvec here on Sunday morning, 4 October.

Vallo’s convoy was returning from an official visit to the Abra Police Provincial Office when it stopped after encountering the crash along the national highway.

According to police, the motorcycle swerved to avoid a stray dog crossing the road, throwing the driver and passenger onto the pavement.

Vallo and members of his team immediately attended to the victims and administered first aid using emergency medical equipment carried in his official vehicle, including a first aid kit, spine board, oxygen tank and wheelchair.

The police chief and his staff continued providing preliminary medical assistance until municipal emergency responders arrived to take over treatment and transport the victims.
