QC Cocktail Jamboree brings Quezon City, Jakarta bar scenes together

Quezon City’s cocktail scene is getting an international twist as the inaugural QC Cocktail Jamboree: Jakarta Edition runs from 2 to 4 October across the Tomas Morato Lifestyle District and nearby areas.

The three-night event pairs eight Jakarta bars with eight Quezon City establishments for guest bartending sessions, special menus and a closing celebration.

Organized by local cocktail establishments in partnership with the Quezon City Tourism Department, the Jamboree will run nightly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Participating venues are located within a two-kilometer radius of the Scout-Timog-Tomas Morato area.

Mayor Joy Belmonte said the event supports the city’s efforts to promote Quezon City as a destination in its own right.

“We want travelers and tourists to see Quezon City not just as a jump-off point, but as a destination worth discovering—with its own cultural gems, hidden wonders, and rich history,” Belmonte said.

Participating Quezon City bars are After Hours, 2B, Bar Flora, ReCraft, Ruby’s Lounge, Old Times, Wrong Door and A.K.A. Their Jakarta counterparts include The Cosmo Pony, The Golden Tooth, Dualism, Between The Sips, HATS, Osmo, Modernhaus and St. Regis Bar.

Guest shifts begin on 2 October, with The Cosmo Pony at Bar Flora, The Golden Tooth at Old Times, Dualism at Wrong Door and Between The Sips at After Hours.

On 3 October, HATS will take over A.K.A., Osmo will appear at 2B, Modernhaus at ReCraft and St. Regis Bar at Ruby’s Lounge.

The event closes on 4 October with a gathering of participating bars, bartenders, industry professionals and cocktail enthusiasts.
