Malabon enhances cop coordination

Malabon Mayor Jeannie Sandoval turned over 30 Push-to-Talk over Cellular radiophones to the Malabon City Police Station to bolster communication and emergency response capabilities across the city.

Sandoval stressed that providing frontline personnel with updated technology remains a priority for the local government in maintaining peace and order across local communities.
City administrator Alexander T. Rosete noted that the upgraded communication devices will enhance coordination between the police force and the Malabon Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office during multi-agency emergency responses.
Police Col. Kenneth Mission, Malabon Chief of Police, accepted the equipment alongside local officials, including Councilor Leslie Yambao and MDRRMO officer-in-charge Roderick Tongol.
