Baguio bank head found dead
According to police, the victim’s wife reported that he left their Baguio City residence alone on the evening of 28 September, traveling toward Manila to receive an award scheduled for the following afternoon.
BAGUIO CITY — Authorities launched an investigation into the death of a 56-year-old bank manager whose body was discovered inside a parked vehicle along Kennon Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Responding officers, Scene of the Crime Operatives, and local health workers located the victim sitting in the front passenger seat with a fatal gunshot wound to the head on a stretch of highway between Barangay Camp 3 and Barangay Twinpeaks.
Investigators recovered an unnumbered .22-caliber revolver at the scene. Medics later pronounced the victim dead due to traumatic brain injury from the gunshot wound before transferring the body to a funeral home in Baguio City.

After colleagues reported his failure to arrive in Manila, the family filed a missing person report with Baguio City Police Office Station 6 before a local resident reported the parked vehicle to barangay officials in Tuba.
The Tuba Municipal Police Station is reviewing closed-circuit television footage along the victim’s travel route and coordinating with the Benguet Police Provincial Office to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
