His signature approach — elevating humble, indigenous materials like abaca, rattan and coco twigs into clean, geometric forms — is evident in every piece of bespoke furniture. Capiz shells and abalone shells, golden cowry shells used in making chandeliers and other lighting fixtures. Abaca fiber made into different kinds of weaving components. There’s the karagumoy. A plant they use for making sleeping mats, bags baskets. Nito vines also use for making different kinds of crafts.
