Bulacan police net 2 in separate drug ops; illegal substances seized

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Authorities have arrested two individuals in separate buy‑bust missions conducted by the Angat and Balagtas police stations, reports from the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) show.

In Angat, PDEA watch‑listed suspect alias “PANTY,” 45, was apprehended in Barangay Sta. Cruz. Seized were a sachet sold for ₱500 and three additional sachets weighing about 3.1 grams, valued at ₱21,080.

Meanwhile in Balagtas, alias “ACE,” a resident of Plaridel, was arrested. Recovered were one sachet worth ₱500 and two more containing roughly 2.5 grams with an estimated value of ₱17,000.

Both suspects and evidence were turned over to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examination. Charges under Republic Act 9165 are being prepared.

Acting Provincial Director PCOL Jay B. Baybayan said intensified anti‑drug operations will continue to curb the spread of illegal substances and ensure community safety across the province.
