XPENG rolls out six-model lineup

XPENG has formally entered the Philippine market with six variants of its X9 electric MPV and L03 SUV coupé, with prices starting at P1.548 million.

The Chinese electric vehicle maker unveiled the lineup at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on 25 September before around 3,000 guests.

Actress and television host Anne Curtis was also introduced as XPENG Philippines’ official brand ambassador.

The local lineup is led by two versions of the seven-seat X9. The X9 Long Range is priced at P3.858 million, while the X9 with the Second Row Premium Seat Package costs P4.058 million.

Both use a front-mounted electric motor producing 235 kW and 450 Nm, paired with a 110 kWh battery. XPENG claims a WLTP driving distance of up to 615 kilometers.

The company says the X9 can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in about 12 minutes using a compatible DC fast charger under optimal conditions.

Active rear-wheel steering gives the MPV a 5.4-meter turning radius. Dual-chamber air suspension and a powered third row are also standard.

The Premium Seat Package adds four-way powered headrest adjustment and 16-point massage functions in the second row.

The standard Long Range uses Zero-Gravity seats separated by a central aisle for easier third-row access.

The L03 arrives in three battery-electric versions and one range-extended electric vehicle or REEV.

The L03 EV Standard Range starts at P1.548 million. The L03 REEV costs P1.598 million, the EV Long Range P1.698 million and the RWD Long Range Ultra P2.058 million.

The Standard Range uses a 58.3 kWh battery and offers up to 445 km of claimed WLTP driving distance. Both Long Range electric versions use a 71.1 kWh battery.

The EV Long Range is rated for up to 520 km, while the Long Range Ultra has a claimed 480 km and adds front-seat massage, an upgraded audio system and additional intelligent driving hardware.

The REEV uses a 37.2 kWh battery good for up to 215 km of electric-only travel. When more distance is needed, an onboard combustion engine generates electricity for the battery rather than driving the wheels directly.

XPENG claims a combined WLTP distance of as much as 1,017 km.

All L03 variants drive the rear wheels through an electric motor and can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in about 20 minutes with compatible DC fast charging.

The five-seat L03 also gets a 539-liter luggage compartment and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen.

XPENG is bundling the vehicles with maintenance, roadside assistance and warranty packages. X9 buyers receive five years of free preventive maintenance and roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, an eight-year battery and electric-motor warranty and a 7 kW wall charger.

L03 buyers get two years of free preventive maintenance, five years of roadside assistance and the same warranty periods. EV versions include a 7 kW wall charger, while the REEV comes with a 3.5 kW portable charger.

Reservations are set at P25,000 for the X9 and P10,000 for the L03.

Customer deliveries are expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2026.

XPENG accepts reservations through its Greenhills, Makati, North EDSA and Cebu locations, with more dealerships planned.

The launch also showcased XPENG’s X2 Flying Car and IRON Humanoid Robot as the company highlighted its work in physical artificial intelligence.

XPENG Philippines is the automaker’s first direct subsidiary in Southeast Asia.
