DivinaLaw attains trifecta in law award

DivinaLaw marked its 20th founding anniversary with a triple win at the 2026 ALB Philippine Law Awards, including the prestigious Philippine Law Firm of the Year title.
The firm received the top distinction during the awards ceremony on 24 September 2026, at the Makati Shangri-La, along with Energy and Resources Law Firm of the Year and Immigration Law Firm of the Year.
DivinaLaw founder and managing partner Atty. Nilo T. Divina described the occasion as a “wonderful and historic night” for the firm, noting the significance of the recognition as it celebrates two decades in practice.
“The timing could not be more meaningful,” Divina said.
“As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, these awards remind us how far we have come — from our humble beginnings to where we are today,” he added.
The Energy and Resources Law Firm of the Year award was the firm’s first win in the category, while its Immigration Law Firm of the Year recognition marked its third, following previous wins in 2018 and 2025.
Divina credited the firm’s achievements to its members, thanking them for their “hard work, dedication, teamwork and commitment to excellence.”
“This recognition belongs to every member of the DivinaLaw family,” he said.
“Twenty years in, and we are still reaching new heights,” Divina added, saying the firm should receive the honors “with gratitude and humility” and use them as inspiration to “dream even bigger.”

The firm was also named a finalist in Arbitration, Intellectual Property, Labor and Employment, Litigation, Tax and Trusts, and Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law Firm of the Year.
DivinaLaw Partner Atty. Jay-r C. Ipac was likewise a finalist for Data Privacy and Protection Lawyer of the Year.
Now in its 11th year, the ALB Philippine Law Awards are organized by Asian Legal Business and presented by Thomson Reuters.
The awards recognize outstanding work by private practitioners and in-house counsel in the Philippines, with an independent panel of senior legal industry leaders scoring shortlisted finalists in each category.
