Alcoholic beverage brand Hard Mountain Dew has launched a contest to search for proof of the existence of an elusive human-like creature.

Any adult contestant who can find “verified evidence” of Bigfoot’s existence and submit it to organizers by 30 November 2026 will win $1 million, Fox News reported.

The “Bigfoot Bounty” contest accepts footprints, handprints, thermal imaging, hair samples, audio recordings, environmental evidence and photographs of the giant hairy creature.

Larger-than-human footprints found in the deep forest of the Pacific Northwest, or the region in western North America including Washington and Oregon, sparked the legend of Bigfoot or Sasquatch.

Meanwhile, people in China have a chance to earn 50 yuan or more by being featured in artificial intelligence-created digital videos, including games and commercials.

One bank employee reportedly made nearly 2,500 yuan with the face-selling scheme, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported.

Facial data licensing platforms are proliferating in China. People can register in Yuanxiang Xinsheng, Xinzhua and other similar sites and authorize video content creators to use their face in short digital dramas, animations, films, etc.

Registrants can choose where their face will appear, and they will get paid each time their face is used by platform customers.

A woman surnamed Lin authorized a facial licensing platform to use her face only in villainous roles, for characters in revealing outfits, as a foreign identity and in death scenes — for 500 yuan per genre, SCMP reported.
