Junior Altas sustain hot form

University of Perpetual Help System Dalta pulled off a 104-97 win over Arellano University for its third straight victory in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 102 juniors basketball tournament on Friday at the Philsports Arena.

Brian Orca dropped an all-around performance of 13 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, and four steals in more than 22 minutes of action while captain Louie Rosales tallied a game-high 20 points, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals for the Junior Altas, who responded from an opening-day loss with three straight victories in Group B.

“Just play good defense, and the result will follow; that’s what I always say to the boys,” said Perpetual coach Joph Cleofas, who also drew 19 points from Gilas Pilipinas standout Sizco Roquid.
