ADMM-Plus delegates reach out to Zambales learners

The delegates of the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus) held a community event at the Shepherds of the Hill Center for Music, Arts, and Sports in San Antonio, Zambales on 22 September 2026 as part of their military social responsibility.

According to the Philippine Fleet, a simple act of kindness and generosity brought smiles to the young learners of the center as regional and international maritime security delegates demonstrated military social responsibility through the sharing of essential goods and meaningful moments with the community.

The participants distributed school supplies and facilitated a feeding activity for the students during the program. In return, the students warmly welcomed the delegates through a series of performances, expressing their appreciation for the visitors’ generosity and support.

The activity formed part of the ADMM-Plus Experts’ Working Group on Maritime Security (EWG on MS) Joint Cooperative Activity (JCA) and Future Leaders’ Program (FLP), which aim to strengthen interoperability, facilitate knowledge exchange, and enhance practical cooperation in the maritime domain, while also providing opportunities for participants to demonstrate social responsibility and support local communities.

The Philippine Fleet stated that thru these engagements, the Philippine Navy continues to strengthen partnerships with regional and international counterparts while supporting initiatives that contribute to resilient and empowered communities.
