‘Petsa de Power’ pays off with Quill win
TELUS Digital Philippines has won a Philippine Quill Award for “Petsa de Power,” an internal communications campaign designed to make financial wellness programs more accessible to its more than 26,000 employees in Metro Manila and Iloilo.
Recognized at the 22nd Philippine Quill Awards, the campaign used employee survey responses and financial concerns to shape year-round communication through emails, webinars, roadshows, e-learning modules, testimonial videos and digital platforms.
Petsa de Power accompanied enhancements to the company’s Savings Arrangement for Financial Empowerment (SAFE) and health maintenance organization coverage, as well as the introduction of Early Wage Access (EWA), which allows employees to access earned wages before payday.
TELUS Digital Philippines also expanded financial education through Pera Paraan, a financial literacy initiative based on employee concerns and survey insights.
“Financial concerns can be deeply personal, and every team member’s situation is different,” TELUS Digital senior vice president Rajiv M. Dhand said.
“Petsa de Power is designed to help our people feel financial support is within reach, while creating more open and practical conversations around financial wellness,” he added.
The company said the campaign helped drive more than 11,800 EWA app downloads, nearly 6,800 new SAFE enrollments and 4,600 additional dependents enrolled in enhanced HMO coverage.
TELUS Digital Philippines also reported a 15 percent year-on-year decline in employee attrition during the same period.
