"Please cover my face": The relatable reason Son Ye-jin puts stickers over Hyun Bin

Son Ye-jin recently revealed why husband Hyun Bin’s face is often hidden behind stickers in her social media photos. Appearing on Netflix Korea’s YouTube series Hong.Geon.De, the actress explained that she always asks for his approval before sharing photos of them together. His usual response? “Please cover my face.”

During the interview, Ye-jin also opened up about "Bal Ye-jin," a secondary social media account she created to share a candid glimpse into her everyday life away from her main page, "Ye-jin Hand."

“If I post daily life, it’s not pretty. I wanted to share something more genuine,” she explained.

However, as casual updates on the account began making headlines, she admitted feeling more hesitant to share: “I created the secondary account for fun, but even that gets reported. I hesitate now, thinking, ‘How will people react?’”

Despite keeping their private life low-key, the couple frequently shows support for one another—including Ye-jin attending the VIP premiere of Hyun Bin's film Harbin in Seoul in December 2024. Hyun Bin has been equally open about his admiration for her, reflecting on her support during filming on a 2024 episode of You Quiz on the Block:

“From the moment our baby was born until now, seeing everything she does is truly amazing. I respect her, and I’m so grateful,” he shared.

The couple, who starred together in the 2018 film The Negotiation and the hit 2019 drama Crash Landing on You, publicly confirmed their relationship in January 2021. They married in March 2022 and welcomed their son in November of the same year.
