Japan's popular yakitori chain Torikizoku is preparing to open its first restaurant in the Philippines on 12 October 2026, at Serendra in Bonifacio Global City.

Ahead of the launch, street installations featuring the brand's yellow mascot, Torikki, have appeared around the Serendra district to guide pedestrians toward the upcoming location.

The day-and-night displays incorporate local culture-inspired designs and QR codes allowing visitors to sign up for updates and make advance reservations.

Founded in Osaka in 1985, Torikizoku specializes in freshly grilled chicken skewers and operates more than 600 locations across Japan as part of its ongoing international expansion.

The upcoming BGC outlet marks the brand's formal entry into the Philippine market under the local promotional campaign "Toriki Tayo," aimed at social dining and group gatherings.
