NPD nabs 8 wanted persons

The Northern Police District (NPD) arrested eight wanted persons during a “Warrant Day” operation on 18 September, including one top most wanted person, two most wanted persons and five other wanted persons.

In Malabon City, NPD District Anti-Carnapping Unit operatives arrested a 40-year-old man identified as the No. 1 top most wanted person of the Navotas City Police Station at about 8:30 p.m. along Hito Street, Longos. He was wanted for murder under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code.

The Regional Trial Court (RTC)Branch 287 in Navotas City issued the warrant on 13 July 2026 under Criminal Case Nos. N26-256-257. The case is not bailable.

In Caloocan City, police arrested a 24-year-old man wanted for carnapping at about 9:30 p.m. at Tala Police Sub-Station 14. The RTC Branch 120 in San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan, issued the warrant on 9 September, with bail set at P300,000.

Police also arrested a 22-year-old man at about 2:30 p.m. at a residence in Barangay 178, Camarin, for alleged violation of Republic Act 10883, or the Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016. The RTC Branch 92 in Quezon City issued the warrant on 4 September, with bail set at P300,000.
