A cleaner coast starts with us

Former Senator Cynthia Villar and the Villar Foundation join volunteers in the International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, 19 September, at the Las Piñas-Parañaque Wetland Park. The effort brought together volunteers to clear waste from the coastal area and help protect its fragile ecosystem.

Villar reminded participants that keeping the coast clean is a shared responsibility that goes beyond cleanup day. She urged everyone to make environmental care part of their daily routine, saying cleaner shores begin with individual action and a commitment to keeping waste away from waterways.
