Global Week of Action for a Fossil-Free Future
Climate activists gather at Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila before marching toward the U.S. Embassy along Roxas Boulevard on 18 September 2026. The protest is part of the Global Week of Action for a Fossil-Free Future, a series of coordinated demonstrations held alongside the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. Protesters called on developed countries, including the United States, to take greater responsibility for their contributions to the climate crisis.
