(September 17 2026) The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)  launched the first billboard campaign against the proposed pax silica hub stating "The biggest resource drain isn't digital. It's dinner. Please, go vegan" which highlights more concerning environmental and animal welfare costs of the meat, egg, and dairy industries, on electronic billboards along EDSA in Mandaluyong on Thursday.
