Carlos Yulo wants future wedding with Chloe San Jose to be filled only with love and joy

Olympic champion Carlos Yulo has opened up about how he envisions a possible wedding with girlfriend Chloe San Jose, making it clear that he wants their special day to focus on their relationship and happiness as a couple.

The subject came up during a conversation with broadcaster Karen Davila, who asked Yulo whether he would want his parents to be present if he and Chloe eventually decide to get married.

Yulo’s response reflected the continuing distance between him and his family. Rather than allowing unresolved issues to become part of such an important occasion, the gymnast said he would prefer to protect the moment he shares with Chloe.

“For me I think, kasal po namin ’yun and relationship po namin. Mas pipiliin kong kami na lang,” Yulo said.

He explained that a wedding, should it happen, is something he would want to remember for positive reasons, without circumstances that could affect the atmosphere of the celebration.

“Ayoko ding masira ’yung moment para sa amin dapat dalawa. Ayoko ’yun mamantsahan pa,” he added.

Yulo also acknowledged that he has already chosen to forgive many things that happened in the past. Forgiveness, however, does not necessarily mean that everything has returned to the way it once was.

“Madami na silang ginawa na pinatawad ko na and hanggang doon na lang,” he shared.

For the two-time Olympic gold medalist, what matters most is creating a wedding day centered on the love he shares with Chloe rather than reopening old wounds or allowing family tensions to overshadow the occasion.

“I really wanted it to be full of love and joy,” Yulo said.

While Carlos and Chloe have yet to announce any wedding plans, his remarks offered a candid picture of the kind of celebration he would want if they eventually walk down the aisle—an intimate and meaningful occasion where their happiness as a couple takes center stage.
