Study smarter: Google offers free AI tools

Google is offering eligible college and university students in the Philippines one year of Google AI Plus for free, giving them access to AI-powered study tools and 400 GB of cloud storage.

The offer includes Study Notebooks, which allows students to upload syllabi, presentations and reading materials and generate study plans, learning guides and practice tests.

The tool can also track learning progress and add exam dates and project deadlines to Google Calendar.

Students will also get access to Google’s Gemini Omni model, interactive 3D visualizations, Daily Brief and Gemini Live for conversational study sessions.

The subscription includes 400 GB of storage across Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos for 12 months.

Eligible students may claim the offer through Google’s student hub or the Gemini app by signing in with a Google account and verifying enrollment at a Philippine college or university.

A valid payment method is required to activate the subscription, but Google said no charges will be made during the promotional year. Students may cancel at any time.

The offer is available to eligible students until 31 December 2026.
