LG makes the smart home smarter

LG Electronics showcased an expanded AI Home ecosystem at IFA 2026 in Berlin, highlighting connected appliances, energy-saving technologies and premium entertainment products.

At the center of the exhibit is LG ThinQ ON, its next-generation AI home hub, which works with the ThinQ platform to connect appliances, spaces and services into a single system.

LG also debuted ThinQ Claw, a text-based AI agent designed to recommend actions based on household conditions, user preferences and daily routines.

The company also showcased its Fit & Max appliance lineup, including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers and dishwashers designed to maximize space while maintaining capacity.

Energy efficiency was another focus, with LG displaying appliances powered by inverter and heat pump technologies. One washing machine featured at the exhibit uses up to 70 percent less energy than the minimum requirement for an A rating under European standards.

For entertainment, LG highlighted its OLED evo AI lineup, Micro RGB evo AI displays and an UltraGear gaming monitor capable of supporting up to a 1,000Hz refresh rate.
