Naomi Banal’s abstraction: A field of possibility

Visual artist Naomi Banal’s abstraction is lyrical and organic, animated by the movement of color and the tension between forms. Rather than treating abstraction as a closed vocabulary, she approaches it as a field of possibility — one that can be continually tested, altered and renewed. Each work becomes an encounter between instinct and deliberation, between what is known and what remains to be discovered.

Banal’s experiments across materials and techniques affirm abstraction as an open-ended pursuit, in which every composition offers another way of seeing and another possibility of expression.

Banal’s fifth solo exhibition, Endless Possibilities V, will be presented by Art Lounge Manila at the Social Hall, Level 6, of The Podium until 29 October.
