Philippine game development companies secured $1.45 million in potential sales during a recent business mission to Shanghai, where local studios showcased their skills to China’s gaming industry.

The delegation participated in ChinaJoy 2026, presenting capabilities in game development, art and animation outsourcing and original intellectual property. They also met with Chinese publishers, distributors and service providers as the government pushes to expand the global market for the country’s digital and creative industries.
