NEW ERA FOR SUNSCREEN

The US Food and Drug Administration has approved bemotrizinol, or #BEMT, the first new active #sunscreen ingredient added to its over-the-counter sunscreen list since the late 1990s. Long used in Europe and Asia, bemotrizinol protects against both UVA and UVB rays and has low levels of absorption through the skin.
