COMELEC DISQUALIFIES PARTY, BET IN BARMM POLLS

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has disqualified a political party and a candidate from participating in the historic BARMM parliamentary elections set for 14 September. The poll body earlier warned it would not hesitate to disqualify candidates or cancel party registrations for violations of election rules.
