BPO firm finds Danao City as its newest site

After years of lobbying among Business Processing Outsourcing (BPOs), Danao City in north Cebu has opened its first center.

City Mayor Ramon “Nito” Durano III cited having a Connectivity Agenda for the city by welcoming BPOs.

“Strengthening connections between people, opportunities, and economic growth, the City Government of Danao continues to create pathways for more Danawanons to thrive,” he said.

Through the Danao City Investment and Promotions Center, the city welcomed XP Plus Solutions, Inc. as it expanded its operations through XP Connect in Danao City, in collaboration with PrimeEdge.

According to XP Plus Solutions Inc., the expansion in Sands Gateway Mall reflects their belief that Danao has the talent, a forward-thinking local government, and the infrastructure needed to support a vibrant business ecosystem.

The company sees the move as a step toward making growth accessible beyond traditional urban centers — bringing jobs closer to where the people live so individuals can stay, grow, and build their future within their own communities.
