Several local government units have announced the suspension of classes and the adoption of alternative work arrangements on Tuesday, August 18, as heavy rains from the southwest monsoon continue to affect parts of the country.

Here is the running list of class suspensions and government work arrangements so far:

Metro Manila

Caloocan — all levels, public and private; shift to alternative mode of learning

Manila — all levels, public and private; shift to alternative mode of learning

Marikina — all levels, public and private

Pasig — all levels, public and private; shift to alternative mode of learning

Mandaluyong — all levels, public and private; shift to modular and asynchronous learning

Navotas — all levels, public and private

Parañaque — all levels, public and private
