Comelec prepares for BARMM elections
Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chairperson George Garcia briefs members of the media on the upcoming Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Parliamentary Elections during a press briefing at the VITRO Data Center in Makati City on 10 August 2026. Garcia said COMELEC has begun deploying election machines and paraphernalia to the island provinces of Basilan and Tawi-Tawi ahead of the September 14 elections.
