Pasay police nab city's most wanted in estafa case
Operatives of the Pasay City Police Station Sub-Station 1 served judicial warrants early Saturday morning, leading to the arrest of the city's most wanted person at a residential condominium along Donada Street in Barangay 36, Pasay City.
Police identified the suspect as alias Criselda, 40, a businesswoman and resident of Barangay 36, Pasay City.
At around 2:10 a.m., operating personnel arrested the suspect at South La Verti Residence.
The warrants of arrest were issued on 28 July by Judge Kirk Aniñon of the Pasay City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 44 for 10 counts of violation of Batas Pambansa Blg. 22 (Bouncing Checks Law), with recommended bail set for each charge.
The accused underwent mandatory physical and medical examinations before being turned over to the Warrant and Subpoena Section of the Pasay City Police Station pending the return of the warrants to the issuing court.
