Environmental advocates, community leaders, entrepreneurs, students, and tourists gather at Plazuela de Sta. Isabel in Intramuros, Manila, for the culmination of Plastic-Free July 2026. Organized by the EcoWaste Coalition, the event calls for greater accountability, stronger plastic reduction measures, and environmental justice. Plastic Free July, a global social movement that helps people reduce single-use plastic waste, was first launched in 2011.
