Meralco Networks Group retains ISO quality certification

The Networks Group of Manila Electric Company (Meralco) has retained its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification after passing its second surveillance audit with zero non-conformities, underscoring the utility’s commitment to operational excellence and reliable power distribution.

The audit, conducted by TÜV SÜD from 22 to 26 June, evaluated the effectiveness of the group’s quality management system covering the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of Meralco’s electricity distribution network and related services.

Zero non-conformity result

The zero non-conformity result affirmed the Networks Group’s continued compliance with international quality management standards and the effectiveness of its operational processes.

“This achievement reflects the discipline, dedication, and teamwork of our people across the Networks organization. More than successfully passing an audit, it demonstrates our unwavering commitment to continuously improving our processes, enhancing operational excellence, and delivering the quality of service our customers and stakeholders deserve,” Meralco senior vice president and head of Networks Froilan J. Savet said.
