BDO Unibank Inc. has financed Cebu Pacific's acquisition of two new Airbus A320neo aircraft, supporting the budget carrier's fleet expansion as it increases capacity to meet growing demand for air travel.

The bank served as the sole lender for the transaction, underscoring its continued support for strategic investments in high-growth sectors.

The additional aircraft are expected to boost flight capacity, expand domestic and regional connectivity, and strengthen Cebu Pacific's position as the country's leading low-cost carrier. The Airbus A320neo also offers improved fuel efficiency, lower carbon emissions and reduced noise levels, supporting the airline's sustainability goals.

"BDO remains committed to supporting strategic investments that enable our clients to grow and adapt in a dynamic environment," said Ed Francisco, president and chief executive officer of BDO Capital. "Our partnership with Cebu Pacific reflects our confidence in the aviation sector's continued recovery and long-term potential."

Charles Rodriguez, executive vice president and head of the Institutional Banking Group at BDO Unibank, said the bank remains committed to providing financing solutions that help businesses expand.

"We are pleased to support Cebu Pacific in this milestone investment," Rodriguez said. "As a trusted financial partner, BDO continues to provide financing solutions that help businesses scale, strengthen operations and advance their sustainability objectives."

Cebu Pacific Chief Financial Officer Mark Cezar welcomed the financing, saying the new aircraft will strengthen the airline's operations and support its long-term growth strategy.

"We value BDO's continued support as we strengthen our operations and expand our fleet," Cezar said. "These new aircraft will enable us to better serve our passengers while advancing our long-term growth and sustainability goals."
