XPENG prepares Q3 market entry
XPENG will enter the Philippine market in the third quarter of 2026 as it expands its presence across Southeast Asia.
The Chinese electric vehicle brand will operate locally through XPENG Philippines, a direct subsidiary of the company.
Its opening lineup will include two electric vehicle models, although their names, prices and full specifications have yet to be announced.
XPENG develops vehicles with its own driver-assistance technology, in-car operating system and other core systems.
The brand plans to offer these features to Filipino motorists as demand for electric vehicles continues to grow in the country.
The company currently operates in more than 60 countries and regions, including markets in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Oceania and Latin America.
Its international network includes more than 380 stores, along with regional operations in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Thailand and Mexico.
XPENG has yet to disclose its local dealership plans, charging support and after-sales network. More details are expected closer to the official launch, including the two models that will lead its Philippine entry.
The upcoming arrival will add another electric vehicle brand to the local market as more global carmakers introduce battery-powered models to Filipino buyers.
